01Willow's excavation team

Three recruits, each with their own small task, and they can be done in any order. Carrying a knife, bread and cooked meat from the start saves a trip.

1. 1

   Speak to Willow north-east of Falador, south of the Dwarven Mine entrance, and agree to help. She needs her old crew back: Burntof, Checkal and Marley.

02Checkal the strongman

1. 1

   Checkal is in the centre of Barbarian Village. He sends you to Atlas in The Long Hall to train.

2. 2

   Sit through the training cutscene, which unlocks the Flex emote, then take a beer and some meat from the table before you leave.

   Return to Checkal and use the Flex emote when he asks.

03Burntof and Marley

1. 1

   Burntof is in the Rising Sun Inn in Falador and wants a drink. Give him the beer from Barbarian Village, or buy one from the bartender.

   He then challenges you to rock paper scissors. He is too drunk to play properly, so it does not matter what you pick.

3. 3

   Marley is in the Edgeville ruins by the yew trees south of the bank. You can go straight there — the conversation with Charlie the Tramp that Willow suggests is skippable.

   He wants a steak sandwich. Talk to the cook in the east room of the Blue Moon Inn in Varrock, who refuses to make one but explains how: use a knife on bread with cooked meat in your inventory. Make it and take it to Marley.

04The Ruins of Camdozaal

1. 1

   With all three recruited, go to the ancient doors on the west side of Ice Mountain, marked with a dungeon icon, and talk to Willow. The crew clears the entrance.

2. 2

   A cutscene reveals they are grave robbers rather than archaeologists, Burntof sets off a trap, and the four of them run.

3. 3

   Kill the level 25 Ancient Guardian to finish. It is a straightforward fight for anything with a reasonable weapon, and the reward is permanent access to Camdozaal.
