PvM money making methods
Bosses, Slayer and monsters — the highest ceiling in the game, and the steepest requirements.
PvM is where the largest incomes in Old School RuneScape are. It is also where the requirements are highest: combat levels, gear, quest unlocks and, most of all, familiarity with mechanics that take practice to learn.
The rates quoted for bosses assume competent play. A player learning Vorkath will earn a fraction of the figure for their first fifty kills, and that is normal rather than a sign of doing something wrong.

What to know about this category
Learn one thing properly
Kill speed improves far more from familiarity than from gear upgrades. A player who knows one boss well out-earns a player who is mediocre at four.
Slayer is the backbone
Dedicated bossing pays more per hour, but Slayer unlocks the content, trains combat, and pays reasonably throughout. Most accounts that reach high-level PvM got there through Slayer rather than around it.
Count deaths in the rate
A method paying four million an hour with a death every three hours is not paying four million an hour. Factor in supply costs and lost items honestly.
