How to choose a method
The highest GP per hour on this page is not the right answer for most people. A method that pays four million an hour but needs 90+ combat stats, expensive gear and full attention is not comparable to one paying 300,000 that you can run while watching something else.
Three questions narrow it down faster than reading every entry:
What can you actually do right now? Filter by your account type and difficulty first. A method you cannot access is not an option, however good the rate looks.
How much attention do you want to give it? This matters more than the headline rate. Time you were not going to spend playing intensively is time an AFK method can use for free.
Are you trying to fund something, or build capital? If you need GP for a specific purchase, take the fastest thing you can sustain. If you are building a bank, methods that compound — trading in particular — pull ahead over weeks.
About the GP per hour figures
GP per hour is an estimate, not a guarantee. Rates move with Grand Exchange prices and depend heavily on your gear, level, familiarity with the method and how consistently you play. Treat these ranges as a starting point and check current prices before committing capital.
Methods whose return is set by the market — flipping, high alchemy, anything that buys an input and sells an output — have the widest ranges here, because the honest answer moves with prices we no longer publish. Treat those as the roughest figures on the page.
Categories
Browse by type
Each category page covers what makes that kind of money making different, not just a filtered list.
Grand Exchange
Trading methods that turn capital into profit without needing a single skill level. Scales with the size of your bank rather than your stats.
PvM
Bosses, Slayer tasks and monsters. The highest earning ceiling in the game, and the steepest requirements.
Skilling
Gathering and non-combat methods. Usually lower risk, often more relaxed, and they raise a skill while they pay.
Processing
Buy a raw material, apply a skill, sell the result. Margins move with the market, so check prices before committing.
High Alchemy
Convert items into GP at a fixed rate set by the game. Profitable whenever an item trades below its alch value plus a nature rune.
AFK
Methods that need very little attention. Lower rates, but they fit around whatever else you are doing.
