Teak trees
Teak logs feed Construction, so demand is constant. Two-tick cutting produces both the fastest experience and the best rate.
Teaks are the standard high-level Woodcutting money maker because they combine a good log price with a fast chop rate, and because the trees do not deplete.
The two-tree pattern — alternating between adjacent trees on precise ticks — raises the rate substantially, but it demands constant attention. The method works fine without it if you would rather relax.
Fossil Island is the convenient location; the Ape Atoll trees are faster but require a greegree and the Monkey Madness line behind it.
This is also strong Woodcutting experience, so if you need the levels anyway, the coins are close to free.
What you actually do
- 1Travel to the teak trees on Ape Atoll or Fossil Island.
- 2Chop, using the two-tree pattern if you are tick-manipulating for the higher rate.
- 3Bank or drop depending on whether you want the logs or the experience.
