Grows herbs, trees and crops on a timer. Extremely fast experience for very little play time.
About Farming
Farming is unlike every other skill: you plant, log out, and return later. A full tree run takes about ten minutes and can give hundreds of thousands of experience once your level is high.
Herb runs are also one of the most profitable low-effort activities in the game, and they feed directly into Herblore.
Fastest training
Rates assume an attentive player with the gear and unlocks that make each method work. Real sessions include banking, breaks and mistakes.
Tree and fruit tree runs
Plant every tree, fruit tree and hardwood patch you have access to, then log out. Two runs a day will carry an account to 99 over time.
Herb runs
Less experience than trees but strongly profitable. Most players do both on the same trip.
Other approaches
- Profitable
- Herb runs are among the best GP per minute in the game once you have Ranarr or Snapdragon seeds and the patches unlocked.
- AFK
- The skill is effectively offline progress — the growth happens whether you are logged in or not.
Useful quests
Quest experience is often worth far more than the time it takes, particularly at low levels where the curve is shallowest.
