OSRS Fletching training guide
Makes bows, arrows and bolts. Fast, cheap and highly AFK.
About Fletching
Fletching is one of the easiest skills to take to 99. Cutting logs into bows and stringing them is quick, cheap and can even turn a profit at some price points.
Bolt production at high levels supplies the Ranged economy, and dragon bolts in particular are always in demand.
Fastest training
Rates assume an attentive player with the gear and unlocks that make each method work. Real sessions include banking, breaks and mistakes.
Stringing bows
Cut, then string. Both halves are fast and the finished bows sell close to the cost of the parts.
Broad bolts or dragon bolts
Very fast experience and the bolts sell well, so the net cost is often near zero.
Darts
The fastest raw experience in the skill, but it consumes dart tips at a real cost.
Other approaches
- Cheapest
- Cutting your own logs into unstrung bows costs nothing but the time spent woodcutting.
- Profitable
- Bow stringing and bolt tipping both operate on thin margins that occasionally turn positive. Check live prices first.
- AFK
- Fletching is click-heavy rather than AFK, but it needs no attention beyond the clicking.
Useful quests
Quest experience is often worth far more than the time it takes, particularly at low levels where the curve is shallowest.
