Karambwan fishing

Fish raw karambwan, which are always in demand because they can be eaten in the same tick as another food.

MembersIntermediateNo riskModerate attention

Cooked karambwan can be eaten in the same tick as another food, which effectively doubles how fast a player can heal. That property is the entire reason they are valuable, and it means demand tracks high-level PvM rather than Cooking training.

The fishing itself is fast, repetitive and requires almost no attention once you are set up, which makes long sessions easy to sustain.

Raw karambwanji are the bait and they are fished separately on the same island. Factor that trip into the rate if you are gathering your own.

Cooking them requires Cooking 30 and, more importantly, the knowledge that undercooked karambwan are poisonous. Many players simply sell them raw and skip the risk.

What you actually do

  1. 1Travel to the karambwan spot on Karamja with karambwan vessels and raw karambwanji as bait.
  2. 2Fish until full.
  3. 3Bank via the nearby teleport, or cook them for the higher price.

Getting the most from it

  • Cooked karambwan are used constantly in high-level PvM because they can be eaten alongside another food in the same tick.
  • That combo-eating property is what keeps the price high, so cooking before selling is usually worth it.
  • The fishing itself is fast and repetitive, which makes it easy to sustain.
