Lobster fishing
Catch lobsters at Karamja and bank them. The long-standing free-to-play Fishing income.
Lobsters are the fishing method almost every account passes through, and they are on this list for the same reason iron ore is: they work when nothing else does.
Cooking them before selling raises the price and trains Cooking at the same time. The burn rate at low levels eats into that, but by the mid-fifties it is straightforwardly worth doing.
Karamja is the traditional spot. The Fishing Guild is closer to a bank and better in every way if you have Fishing 68 to enter it.
The rate is low and it does not improve with levels. Treat lobsters as the thing you do until sharks, monkfish or karambwan open up.
What you actually do
- 1Travel to a lobster spot — Karamja or the Fishing Guild.
- 2Fish until your inventory is full.
- 3Bank and repeat, or cook them first if you want the higher price.
