Ogress warriors are the standard recommendation for a new account that has outgrown hill giants. Their drop table is unusually generous for the combat level required, mixing coins, alchables and gems in quantities you would normally expect from something much stronger.

They hit harder than their level suggests, so food matters here in a way it does not at giants. A rune scimitar and a stack of lobsters is the usual working setup.

Corsair Cove Dungeon is behind The Corsair Curse, a short novice quest with no meaningful requirements. That quest is well worth doing purely to unlock this.

The rate does not scale — it is what it is regardless of how good your gear gets. Use it to build the first few million, then move on to something that rewards better equipment.

What you actually do

1Travel to Corsair Cove Dungeon and find the ogress warriors.
2Kill them and collect the drops, which are mostly alchables and coins.
3Bank at Corsair Cove when full.
