Anglerfish heal above your maximum hitpoints, which makes them the food of choice for content where an overheal matters more than raw healing. That keeps the price well above what a fish of this level would otherwise command.

Sandworms are the bait, and they are gathered on Fossil Island or bought. Either way they are a real cost that comes out of the margin, so include them when you compare this against other fishing.

Cooking anglerfish needs Cooking 84, which is a high bar. A large share of the anglerfish on the Grand Exchange are sold raw for exactly that reason.

Port Piscarilius has a bank close to the fishing spots, so trips stay short. Kourend favour affects your catch rate here, which is worth knowing before you judge the method by an early session.

2Fish anglerfish until your inventory is full.
3Bank in Piscarilius and repeat.
