High alchemy money making
Converting items into GP at a fixed rate, while training Magic.
High Level Alchemy converts an item into coins at a value the game fixes permanently. Because the item's market price moves and the alch value does not, there are always items trading below what alching them returns.
The profit per cast is usually small. What makes it worthwhile is that you are training Magic at the same time — roughly 78,000 experience an hour — so the alternative is not another money maker but paying for the same training.

What to know about this category
Buy limits are the real constraint
You can cast about 1,200 spells an hour, but you can only buy a limited number of any item per four hours. Profit per buy limit matters far more than profit per cast.
Nature rune price is the variable
It is the only input that changes, and when nature runes rise, marginal items stop being profitable entirely. Our calculator recalculates against the live price.
