Clock Tower

01Four cogs, one at a time

The dungeon is a cross shape and each arm holds one cog. The colour of the tiles in the central room tells you which way each one is.

1. 1

Talk to Brother Kojo at the Clock Tower south-west of Ardougne Zoo. He needs four coloured cogs from the dungeon below.

You can only carry one cog at a time. Each has to be fetched and fitted to its spindle before you go back for the next.

02Blue and black

1. 1

The blue cog is behind a wall rather than in the dungeon proper. Go down the ladder south of the Ardougne Zoo camel cage, by the oak tree, follow the winding passage to the end and push the wall.

2. 2

For the black cog, go down the ladder in the middle room of the tower, north-east to the tile room, then through the north-eastern door and as far east as you can.

3. 3

It sits inside a ring of fire. Use a bucket of water on it, or wear ice gloves, to pick it up.

03Red and white

1. 1

The red cog is through the south-eastern door, on the floor among the ogres. Run in, grab it and leave.

2. 2

For the white cog, take the north-western door and follow the outer passage to some rat poison.

3. 3

Pull the two levers by the dungeon rats to open the cage, go through both gates, and use the poison on the food trough. Wait for the rats to die, then take the cog.

Hop worlds and pick up a second rat poison while you are here. Ratcatchers needs one later and this is the convenient place to get it.

4. 4

With all four fitted to their matching spindles beside the ground-floor ladder, return to Brother Kojo.
