Romeo & Juliet

01Carrying messages

The first half is pure errand running between two people who could walk to each other in under a minute.

1. 1

Find Romeo in Varrock Square and agree to help him. If he is not in the square he has wandered into the general store just south of it, which catches people out more often than it should.

2. 2

Go to Juliet, on the balcony of the mansion directly west of Varrock west bank, just outside the city wall. She gives you a letter.

3. 3

Take the letter back to Romeo. He then sends you to Father Lawrence in the Varrock church, north-east of the square, who proposes faking Juliet's death.

02The cadava potion

The Apothecary is in south-western Varrock, west of the sword shop, marked by a purple potion icon.

1. 1

Pick cadava berries from the bushes just west of the south-east Varrock mine before you speak to the Apothecary. Doing it in that order saves you the walk back.
2. 2

Talk to the Apothecary — choose 'Talk about something else' first — and hand over the berries for the cadava potion.

3. 3

Give the potion to Juliet, then return to Romeo and tell him to fetch her from the crypt.

Do not drink the potion yourself. It blacks you out for a short while and you will have to go back for more berries.

03The crypt

1. 1

A cutscene takes you into the crypt with Romeo, where he meets Juliet's cousin Phillipa and forgets Juliet entirely. That is the end of the quest.
