Spirits of the Elid

01To the waterfall

Three golems, each immune to everything but one attack style. Bring a weapon that covers all three or you will be making trips.

1. 1

   Leave Nardah and walk north-west to the River Elid, then follow it north to the waterfall at its source, on the east bank.

   • Rope
   • Knife
2. 2

   On the way you pass respawns for a bronze pickaxe, a shortbow and bronze arrows. Take them if you did not bring your own.

3. 3

   Pluck a feather from the Desert Phoenix you pass. It is needed for The Golem and counts for a medium Desert Diary task.

02The three golems

1. 1

   Inside, ignore the door to the north and go a short way east to three doors. Opening each summons a level 75 golem.

2. 2

   Each colour is only vulnerable to one style: crush, slash or stab. A spear, hasta or bladed staff covers all three; a decent pickaxe covers stab and crush.

   Bring the right weapon before you open a door. The black golem can be fought unarmed for crush damage, but its Defence makes that painfully slow below about 70 combat stats.

   Each golem's door opens once it is dead.

03The crevice

1. 1

   Go back to the mayor in Nardah. He admits the statue was thrown down a crevice west of town.

2. 2

   Take the mayor's shoes from beside the door and use a knife on them to remove the soles. Stand away from him or he will stop you.

   Do this while you are here. Skipping it means coming back, and you will need an extra rope for the second trip.

3. 3

   Use a rope on the crevice west of the Nardah general store and climb down with a light source — without one the bugs will eat you alive.

4. 4

   Talk to the genie and trade the mayor's sole for what he is holding. Telekinetic Grab is needed later, so keep the law and air rune.
