Varrock Achievement Diary
A Mining and Smithing reward, in the game's busiest city.
Why do it
Varrock armour gives a chance at extra ore while mining, which compounds over a skill measured in tens of thousands of actions. For anyone training Mining seriously it is one of the highest-value diaries in the game.
What each tier gives you
- EasyVarrock armour 1
A chance at extra ore from the lowest tiers of rock.
- MediumVarrock armour 2
The bonus extends to higher-tier ores.
- HardVarrock armour 3
Extra ore from most of what a mid-game account mines.
- EliteVarrock armour 4
The full armour, plus Smithing conveniences around Varrock.
Task lists

Each tier is a list of tasks with an exact skill level, and often a quest, attached to every one. Getting a single number wrong sends somebody training to a level that does not unlock what they came for, which is worse than us saying nothing. These will go in when we can check them against something better than memory — the rest of this page is accurate in the meantime.
