Black Knights' Fortress

01The briefing

A short infiltration with one disguise and one cabbage. Everything you need can be bought on the way.

1. 1

   Talk to Sir Amik Varze in the west wing of White Knights' Castle in Falador and ask for a quest. He hands you a dossier, which needs a free inventory slot.

2. 2

   Read the dossier. It destroys itself, and that starts the quest.

3. 3

   Pick up the kit on the way: an iron chainbody from Wayne's Chains west of Falador's south gate, a bronze med helm from Peksa in Barbarian Village, and a cabbage from the Edgeville Monastery patch.

   Cabbages picked at Draynor Manor do not work. Any other cabbage does.

02Getting inside

1. 1

   The fortress is north-east of the Dwarven Mine and north-west of the Monastery. The knights outside are aggressive below 67 combat, so run rather than fight.

2. 2

   Equip the chainbody and med helm and enter by the southern door. A black full helm, platebody and platelegs or plateskirt work just as well.

3. 3

   Once you are through the door the disguise has done its job and you can unequip it. Low-level accounts can heal at the Edgeville Monastery just east before pushing on.

03The cabbage

1. 1

   Enter the room directly east of the entrance. A guard warns you about the meeting inside; take the option saying you do not care, then climb the ladder on the northern wall.

   Follow the L-shaped landing round and push the wall open to reveal a hole above the cauldron.

3. 3

   Right-click your cabbage and use it on the hole. A cutscene destroys the potion.

   Right-click it. Left-clicking eats the cabbage, and then you are walking back to Edgeville for another one.

4. 4

   Return to Sir Amik Varze and tell him the weapon is sabotaged.
