Mountain Daughter

Follow the path into the Mountain Camp, enter the eastern longhouse and ask Hamal the Chieftain why everyone is so hostile.

After some arguing he lets you look for his daughter. From then on you can enter the camp over the rockslide.

Bring gloves — most special gloves are rejected, so plain leather is safest — and a staff or pole. A Dramen staff does not work; elemental and lunar staves do.

Gather mud, then follow the path west along the Shining pool to the tall tree by the geysers.

Use the mud on the tall tree so you do not slip, climb it, crawl along the branch and drop to the island.

Pole-vault the clump of rocks with your staff, cross the flat stone with the plank, then Listen-to the Shining pool at one of the bubbles.

Hamal sent a villager, Svidi, to open a trade route with Rellekka. Find him in the forest north-west of the rockslide, outside Keldagrim — he shows as a fast-moving yellow dot near the black unicorns and must be chased down.

Talk to Jokul in the tent north of Hamal about the white pearl fruit before you go looking for it, or you cannot pick it.

The thorny bushes are at the peak of White Wolf Mountain near the gnome glider.

Go back to Asleif at the pool — pole vault and plank again — and she asks you to convince her father she is dead.

Head to the north side of the pool and follow the path east to a cave blocked by dead trees. Chop through them with an axe.

The Kendal is level 70. Kill it and take proof back to Hamal.

Collect five muddy rocks from the goat pen — the same rock respawns quickly — and get Asleif's necklace from Ragnar past the tall tree, then build the cairn on the island.
