01Kasonde's journal

Four dungeons, each holding a stone tablet and a set of wood carvings that slowly build a translation of an ancient language.

1. 1

   Search the tent at the campsite south of the lizardman settlement in the Kebos Lowlands to start the quest and get Kasonde's journal, then read it.

   Lizardmen, lizardman brutes and mountain trolls are aggressive on the routes from Shayziens' Wall and Mount Quidamortem. The fairy ring is the safe way in.

02The first dungeon

1. 1

   Look around the stone tables for the one with a Search option for your first stone tablet, and read it.

2. 2

   Closing the tablet gives you a set of incomplete word translations. The other stone tables now have Search options too — take two wood carvings and inspect them.

3. 3

   One of the vases can also be searched. Inspecting each carving adds words to the translation list.

03Molch Island and Xeric's Shrine

1. 1

   On Molch Island, climb down the hole behind the hut. Inspect the vines for a dirty note, cut them and squeeze through.

2. 2

   Take the second stone tablet from a stone table, the third wood carving from the table behind you, and two more from the vases on the eastern side.

3. 3

   At Xeric's Shrine, climb down the hole on the eastern side. The third tablet is on the south-eastern stone table, and the open stone chest beside it holds a compass giving the words for the cardinal directions.

   Search the vase just north, both remaining stone tables and the huge mushroom in the centre for four more carvings.

04The Ruins of Morra

1. 1

   The last hole is in front of the step pyramid. The final tablet is on the southern stone table; the rest of the carvings are on the other tables, in the vase, in the stone chest and in the rubble.

2. 2

   The translations you build up include Chua for build or make, Kemo for yes or correct, Amok for small, Siua for big, Ralo for light or sun, Rani for dark or moon, Tal for life or soul, Miki for death, Yoka for knowledge and Antil for home.

   With every word entered, read the final tablet to finish.
