Starting out: Talk to Effigy at the Tower of Life just east of the Ardougne Monastery.

There is no written introduction to this one yet. The walkthrough, requirements, items and rewards below are complete.

Go to the Tower of Life south of East Ardougne and talk to Effigy, who points you at Bonafido by the boxes north of the entrance.

He only lets builders in. You need a hard hat, scruffy trousers, a good top and hard boots — talk to the other builders for each piece.

'Black-eye' wants a beer, and it must be an ordinary beer rather than any of the flavoured ones.

Every part comes from the crates on the ground floor. Each crate gives the same item, so search it repeatedly — an empty search is normal.

The pressure machine takes 4 coloured balls, 3 metal sheets and 4 valves.

The pipe system and the cage at the top take their own counts of parts, listed on each machine.

With all three fixed, talk to Effigy outside, then join the alchemists at the top for a long cutscene where the Homunculus is created.

Go back down to Effigy, then up again to confront it.
