There is no written introduction to this one yet. The walkthrough, requirements, items and rewards below are complete.
Walkthrough
01The dispute
- 1
Talk to General Bentnoze or General Wartface in Goblin Village, north of Falador and east of Taverley. The goblins are close to civil war over the colour of their armour.
- 2
Ask where to get orange armour. They will tell you goblin mail can be dyed, and Grubfoot mentions the yellow dye he took from a witch in Draynor.
02Three sets of mail
The mail comes from crates around the village. You need exactly three sets and you must not dye all of them.
- 1
Take goblin mail from the crate behind the generals' hut, the crate in the western hut between the small square hut and the generals' hut, and the crate up the ladder near the village gate.
Dye only two of the three. If you colour all of them the crates will not give you a replacement, and killing goblins for another set is slow.
03Mixing the dyes
- 1
Take woad leaves, redberries and onions to Aggie in Draynor Village and have her make one blue, one red and one yellow dye.
- 2
Combine the red and yellow dyes in your inventory to make orange.
Mix the dyes before touching the armour. Using red dye on yellow mail gives you red mail, not orange, and that set is then wasted.
04The verdict
- 1
Dye one set orange and one blue, and leave the third alone. Hand the generals the orange, then the blue, then the plain brown.
- 2
Grubfoot models each one. They reject the first two and settle on brown, which is what they were already wearing.
