Temple of the Eye

Talk to Wizard Persten just north of the pool in Al Kharid and agree to help. She has an eye amulet bought for 100 coins from Asgarnia Smith, who found it near the Ruins of Uzer.

Take the amulet to the Mage of Zamorak in the Zamorakian chapel in south-eastern Varrock and use it on him.

He — Herbert — wants a bucket of water and a strong cup of tea. Ask the Tea Seller at Varrock's eastern entrance for a strong cup; it is an ordinary tea, but the asking is what matters.

Go back to Persten in Al Kharid. Leaving the Abyss by the fire rift puts you right beside her.

She disables the Z.M.I.'s magical feed and redirects it to send them false information, then offers a one-time teleport to the Wizards' Tower.

Use the abyssal incantation on Archmage Sedridor in the basement. He checks the amulet and incantation are safe before agreeing to help.

Speak to Sedridor again in the basement. A cutscene opens a portal and you step through into an underground Saradominist temple, which Tamara locates deep below the sea south of Morytania.

Explore and speak to every apprentice, then talk to Persten about the markings.

The last section is a tutorial for the Guardians of the Rift minigame.

Do not drop anything here. Visiting the runecrafting altars refreshes the instance and anything on the floor is destroyed permanently.

Talk to Felix, take a weak cell from the eastern table, bring it to Tamara and place it in the inactive cell tile to raise a barrier.

Go back to Felix for a chisel, assemble the essence piles into rune guardians, and follow the remaining instructions to close the rift.
