01Arriving in Varlamore

The gateway to most of Varlamore, and the quest that unlocks the quetzal transport network.

1. 1

   Talk to Regulus Cento outside Varrock's east gate to travel to Civitas illa Fortis.

   Bring gear for two combat styles, or a poisoned weapon. The poison route works but is considerably slower.

2. 2

   Speak to Ennius or Furia Tullus at the entrance to the Sunrise Palace, then go to the temple south-east of the bazaar, marked with two dungeon icons.

3. 3

   Metzli directs you to the crypt beneath the temple, where Prince Itzla is with Servius.

02Collecting six knights

1. 1

   Return to the Tullus twins, now further inside the palace grounds. They name six knights and give you a Varlamore crest to prove you are working for them.

2. 2

   The knights can be collected in any order. Arrun and Claudia are in the centre of the bazaar and will only come once they have caught the thief they are baiting with a planted amulet.

03The Teomat

1. 1

   Speak to Regulus Cento south-east of the palace, by the quetzals, and ask about reaching the Teomat.

2. 2

   He gives you quetzal feed for Renu. Feed her to open the Quetzal Transport System, then pick the Teomat — the small mountain-and-house icon just north of Cam Torum.

3. 3

   Every quetzal destination you unlock stays available afterwards, which is the lasting reward of this quest.

4. 4

   The level 81 Knight of Varlamore and eight level 34 cultists are the combat here. Switching styles is what the two gear sets are for.
