01The delegation

The introduction to Varlamore, and short enough that the stealth section is the only part worth preparing for.

1. 1

   Speak to Noah or Alina on the eastern side of Varrock Square, behind Eliza's stall. Ask when the delegation arrives to move straight to the cutscene.

2. 2

   The cutscene introduces Prince Itzla Arkan and the Varlamore party — and a guard slipping away with a large bag.

02Following the guard

1. 1

   The guard walks towards south-east Varrock and turns around at intervals. You have to break line of sight each time he stops.

   Getting spotted sends you back to Noah to start the tail again. Move only while he is walking, and stop before he turns.

2. 2

   The cover runs roughly: inside Lowe's Archery Emporium, behind the northern wall of the building south of it, its south-eastern corner, then the western wall of Old Man Yarlo's house.

03The interrogation

1. 1

   Report to Sergeant Tobyn, who arrests the bandits, then join him in the cell on the palace roof.

2. 2

   Prince Itzla turns up bored of the politics and helps. The bandit admits someone, possibly from Varlamore, hired them to kill members of the delegation.

3. 3

   Finish the conversations to complete the quest. It unlocks Civitas illa Fortis and the rest of Varlamore, which is the actual reward.
