The Heart of Darkness

Start at the Teomat, where Twilight's Promise ended. Prince Itzla proposes infiltrating the Twilight Emissaries.

Queen Zyanyi refuses to let him lead it, so he sends you to a pub in the Quetzacalli Gorge to meet a contact.

Head north-east past the gate, east past the Proudspire, then south to the Tower of Ascension to meet Itzla.

While waiting for Forebearer Janus, talk to the recruits — Nova, Sergius, Felius and Caritta. Nova mentions the Augur, the cult's new leader.

Emissary Brawlers at levels 74 and 86 and Conjurers at 71 come with the trials.

Open the chest for Twilight Emissary Robes, wear them, and go to the Twilight Temple.

Do not teleport or wander far during the initiation. Itzla walks back to the Tower of Ascension and you have to fetch him.

The Augur turns out to be Metzli, Teokan of Ranul, who claims the Tullus twins are Ralos and Ranul reborn.

Speak to Forebearer Fides afterwards.

Through the door, Amoxliatl the frost nagua bars humans from the Tlati archive.

Metzli and the twins teleport Itzla away and then leave, and you fight her at level 263 in their place.

Prince Itzla himself is fought at level 167 during the quest.
