01Three sons, three pieces

The reward is the culinaromancer's gloves' predecessor — the family gauntlets, which are still worth having for Cooking, Smithing or Magic.

   Talk to Dimintheis in the fenced area of south-eastern Varrock, in the house above the clothes shop, and agree to find his family crest.

2. 2

   His three sons split it between them years ago. Caleb is in Catherby, Avan is in the desert and Johnathon is north-east of Varrock.

02Caleb in Catherby

1. 1

   Caleb is in or around the building with the sink south of the Farming shop. Ask if he is Caleb Fitzharmon, then ask about the rest of the crest.

2. 2

   He hands his piece over for the ingredients to a fish salad: shrimps, salmon, tuna, bass and swordfish.

03Avan in the desert

1. 1

   Ask the gem trader in northern Al Kharid, beside the gnome glider, about Avan Fitzharmon. He was after perfect gold.

2. 2

   Avan wanders the entrance to the northern Al Kharid mine wearing a yellow cape. He wants gold made into jewellery, so bring the moulds and rubies.

04Johnathon and Chronozon

1. 1

   Johnathon is upstairs in the north-western room of the Jolly Boar Inn, delirious from a spider bite. Let him finish talking, then use the antipoison on him.

   He takes the whole potion whatever its dose, so bring a one-dose one rather than a full four.

2. 2

   He lost his piece to the demon Chronozon, level 170, in the Edgeville dungeon.

3. 3

   Chronozon must be hit with all four Blast spells — wind, water, earth and fire — or he simply heals. He can be safespotted.

   Bring runes for all four Blasts. Any other damage is undone, so a melee-only attempt cannot kill him at all.

4. 4

   Combine the three pieces and take the crest back to Dimintheis.
