Olaf's Quest

Talk to Olaf Hradson north-east of Rellekka, by the entrance to the snow hunting area. He wants you to pass off carvings as exotic gifts to his family.

He has only damp driftwood, so cut the windswept tree up the mountain path east of him for usable wood.

Ingrid Hradson is by the well south-east of the Rellekka longhall, or in the house beside it. She gives you bread for the carving.

Volf Olafson is further north by the helmet shop. He gives you a cooked shark.

Take the eastern fence agility shortcut if you have the level — it saves the walk round.

Olaf's fire has gone out. Use the damp planks he gives you on the embers and light them with a tinderbox.

He then asks for food. You can simply refuse and he hands over the map anyway.

If you do feed him he takes any piece of food from your inventory, not the one you offer. Refusing is safer than losing a shark.

Follow the map and dig where it points. Bring six ropes, or four free inventory slots plus ten if you are collecting ropes along the way.

Inside you fight level 40 skeleton fremenniks and eventually Ulfric at level 100.

Ulfric can be safespotted, which is how most accounts handle him.
