01How this one works

Twenty-seven bones from twenty-seven monsters across the whole map. Not hard, but the longest collection quest in the game.

1. 1

   The wish list is pinned to the Odd Old Man's house and mirrored in your quest journal. Names only come off once the bone is actually handed in.

2. 2

   Each monster has a 1 in 4 chance of dropping its bone, so expect several kills each.

3. 3

   Hand bones in as you go rather than saving all 27. He updates the list each time, which makes tracking far easier.

   Ensouled heads and the Arceuus reanimation spells near the Dark Altar work as a substitute for hunting many of these monsters.

02Plan it by region

1. 1

   Bats are right outside the Odd Old Man's house, so start there. Giant bats do not count.

2. 2

   Morytania: undead cows west of the Ectofuntus, and the experiments under Fenkenstrain's Castle — push the easternmost memorial in the graveyard south-east of the castle.

3. 3

   Misthalin: most of a section's worth live in the Varrock Sewers. Bring a slash weapon for the webs.

4. 4

   Lumbridge: cave goblins in the Dorgesh-Kaan mines, through the Lumbridge Castle cellar with a lantern. This needs The Lost Tribe partly done.
5. 5

   Nardah: use ice coolers on the level 42 lizards once their health is gone, or the kill does not count.

03The awkward ones

1. 1

   Basilisks need a mirror shield or V's shield. The bone can be had without 20 Defence if you freeze or safespot them.
2. 2

   Zogres take reduced damage from everything except brutal arrows and Crumble Undead, so bring one or the other.

3. 3

   Vinegar comes from Fortunato in Draynor — 27 jugs for 27 coins. Boil each bone the same way as the first quest, and never click Empty on one.
