Read the signpost in Canifis advertising the job. If it says you do not meet the requirements, talk to Dr Fenkenstrain directly — he offers it anyway.

Take the pickled brain from the table in the pub to the south. Roavar charges 50 coins, or use Telekinetic Grab for free.

Follow the path north-east to Fenkenstrain's Castle and talk to him inside.

Search the west bookcase upstairs for The Joy of Grave Digging and a marble amulet, and the east one for Handy Maggot Avoidance Techniques and an obsidian amulet.

Use the two amulets on each other to make a star amulet.

Read the grave south-east of the fairy ring to confirm it is Ed Lestwit's, then right-click to dig it for a decapitated head.

Use the pickled brain on the head.
It is easy to hand over the head without the brain in it. Fenkenstrain will not tell you what is missing.

Give Fenkenstrain the body parts, then a needle and five threads to sew them together.

Wearing the ghostspeak amulet, ask the Gardener Ghost behind the castle for the shed key.

Repair the lightning conductor with the silver bar and bronze wire so he can bring the creature to life.

Fenkenstrain gives you the tower key and asks you to kill the monster. Climb the ladder in the central upstairs room and talk to it instead.

He is Lord Rologarth, and Fenkenstrain tricked him into selling his subjects and himself to the vampyres.

Steal the ring that gives Fenkenstrain his power. The level 51 Experiment can be safespotted or flinched if it comes to a fight.

The Ring of Charos, which allows access to the Werewolf Agility Course, and, when activated during Garden of Tranquillity, reduced cost to many transport links.
