Sail to Mos Le'Harmless with Bill Teach from Port Phasmatys, or teleport, and talk to Brother Tranquility about the undead pirates.

Outside the windmill, aggressive level 57 zombie pirates attack. Pull the Saradomin statue a short way north and go down the hole.

The tunnel is flooded — equip your underwater breathing gear to get through, then repair the stairs.

The book is in a bookshelf in the south-west corner of the Edgeville Monastery. Read it for the instructions.

Equip a holy symbol, return to Harmony Island, and right-click the book to recite the prayer once the zombies start gassing the windmill.

Talk to Brother Tranquility afterwards — the quest does not advance on the prayer alone.

Dr Fenkenstrain is up the ladder in the jail cell in the middle of his castle's upper floor. He agrees to help but will not travel normally and is allergic to teleporting.

Talk to Rufus, the meat shop owner in Canifis, for the way to move him.

If you have lost your ring of Charos, pickpocket Fenkenstrain for another.

Fenkenstrain needs brain tongs, a cranial clamp, three bell jars, thirty skull staples and a hammer — all held by the people who did the original surgery.

Bank at Mos Le'Harmless for the fight, and keep the underwater equipment on.

Barrelchest is not undead, so a salve amulet does nothing. Prayer and Defence both drain faster than normal and he switches your prayers off outright.

Confront Mi-Gor in the monastery and he summons Barrelchest at level 190.
