2 things to clear first, and it needs membership. Work through the list below before you travel.

Starting out: Talk to Lucien at the Flying Horse Inn in the north-western corner of East Ardougne.

There is no written introduction to this one yet. The walkthrough, requirements, items and rewards below are complete.

Speak to Lucien in the Flying Horse Inn in north-western East Ardougne. He wants the Staff of Armadyl and gives you the Pendant of Lucien to get past the barrier.

The temple is directly south of the Ranging Guild. Consider doing it in two trips: one weightless, one with combat gear.

From the entrance run west to the stairs and go down with a light source. Slash the web, then pick up and equip the Boots of Lightness.

Wearing the pendant, go through the northern gate to the bridge over lava. Your weight must be -1kg or lower to cross.
Drop items until you read -2kg — you have to pick up a lever weighing 0.056kg on the far side. Keep the pendant equipped or you cannot get back to your dropped items if you fall.

Cross, take the lever, and pull it to unlock the southern gate.

Follow the path to the ice chamber full of level 61 ice spiders. Search the six chests — only one holds arrows at any time.

Twenty arrows is comfortable at low Ranged. With throwing weapons you only need one ice arrow at all.

Re-enter the north door wearing the pendant, then unequip it if you want the neck slot for combat.

Right-click the lever in the alcove to search for traps before pulling it, then open the door at the end of the western passage.
Searching for traps first is not optional flavour. Pulling it blind hurts.

The Fire Warrior of Lesarkus at level 84 can only be harmed by ice arrows.

Take the staff to Lucien and fight a level 43 Guardian of Armadyl, or side with the Guardians and fight a level 14 Lucien. The rewards are the same either way.

If you side with Lucien and still want the Pendant of Armadyl — useful protection in the God Wars Dungeon — you must kill the guardians rather than talk to them.

The choice only changes some dialogue in While Guthix Sleeps later.
