Sir Tiffy Cashien in Falador Park upgrades your Commorb to v2 and sends you to Witchaven.

Col. Jake O'Niall is on the pier at the north-east corner. Ask him who the important people in town are before you leave.

Speak to Mayor Hobb in the north-west house, Brother Maledict and Holgart in any order, then report back.

Climb down into the shrine west of town. The minimap shows a red section of wall on the east side — that is the false wall to push.

Past it are aggressive level 45 giant lobsters and a winding tunnel with an Agility shortcut, ending at an imposing door.

Do not try to force the door. Opening it is the last thing you do in this quest, not the first.

Take the notes to Jorral at his Outpost with a free inventory slot — a full inventory means you do not receive them.

Right-click the pages to make air, water, fire, earth and mind shapes from rune or pure essence.

Do not use the chisel directly on the essence — that makes fragments. Bring 15 to 20 essence; success is 43 per cent at level 1 Runecraft.

Use each shape on its matching altar.

Take the Commorb v2 back into the shrine and use the runes on the door in any order.

Mayor Hobb used you to break a seal the White Knights placed. The level 62 Slug Prince attacks.

Only melee damages it, and its attacks drain your Prayer by the damage dealt. Do not plan on protection prayers lasting.
