Ghosts Ahoy

01Ecto-tokens first

Gather the tokens before starting. Doing it as you go turns one trip into three.

1. 1

   Worship at the Ectofuntus north of Port Phasmatys. Seven buckets, seven pots and seven bones in one trip covers most of what you need.
2. 2

   Aim for 35 tokens, or 20 with a ring of Charos (a). Level 1 undead chickens west of the Ectofuntus supply the bones.

02Velorina and Necrovarus

1. 1

   Pay two ecto-tokens at the Energy Barrier north of Port Phasmatys and speak to Velorina in the house directly east.
2. 2

   Take her request to Necrovarus at the Ectofuntus temple. He refuses outright, which is what sets the rest of the quest going.

03Nettle tea and the crone

1. 1

   Fill a bowl at the water pump west of the farm allotments, then pick nettles east of Slayer master Mazchna wearing gloves.

   Pick spare nettles. Nettle-water boils over easily and each failure costs you a batch.

2. 2

   Take the tea to the Old Crone north of Canifis.

04Enchanting the amulet

1. 1

   Repair the model ship with silk, a needle, thread and a knife.

   Climb the wrecked ship on the north coast of the farming patch — it looks like water on the minimap — for the Book of Haricanto.

3. 3

   Bring the robes, book, manual and ghostspeak amulet to the Old Crone, who enchants the amulet.

   The dye colours needed for the robes are random. Carrying three each of red, blue and yellow lets you mix whatever comes up rather than making a second trip.

4. 4

   Return to Necrovarus with the amulet equipped and command him to release the ghosts. Asking for the joke or the chicken impression first costs no charge.
