Regicide

01Speak to Lathas first

The quest that opens Tirannwn. It sends you through the Underground Pass twice more, so plan each trip carefully.

1. 1

   Talk to King Lathas before you set off.

   Without that conversation you cannot pass the dense forest on the far side of the pass, and you will have walked the whole thing for nothing.

2. 2

   There are no banks beyond the Underground Pass. Everything you need has to be carried in.

   • Tinderbox
3. 3

   Do not waste agility potions inside the pass if you are only carrying enough for the elf traps.

02Crossing Isafdar

1. 1

   Wait in the forest for Idris to appear and speak to you. If he spawns and stays silent, hop worlds.

2. 2

   From the Underground Pass exit go west and take the southern split to avoid the stick trap.

3. 3

   Continue west to the leaf trap to the south and jump it, then go south to the two small pools, west across the stick trap.

4. 4

   Take the north-west path, jump the leaf trap, and cross the log balance — 45 Agility — to reach the Elf Camp.

03Building the bomb

1. 1

   Lord Iorwerth gives you the Big Book O' Bangs. Do not drop it — you need it in Rimmington.

2. 2

   Take at least three barrels from the north-east tent at the camp. Coal tar can be lost making naphtha, and Mourning's End Part I needs another barrel later.

3. 3

   With gloves equipped, use limestone on a furnace for quicklime, then grind it with a pestle and mortar while carrying a pot.

   The gloves are not optional — handling quicklime bare-handed damages you. The furnace inside the Underground Pass saves a trip.

04The catapult

1. 1

   Go through the pass one last time. You no longer need the coal, gloves, pestle, pickaxe or combat gear.

2. 2

   Kill and cook a rabbit on any fire — there are lit fires in the Elven Camp and at Zul-Andra.
3. 3

   Give the guard at the catapult outside Tyras Camp the rabbit meat to distract him, then use the bomb on the catapult and light it.

4. 4

   A tinderbox is essential here, though the camp's general store sells one if you forgot.
